Process Engineer

Are you a talented Manufacturing Process Engineer? This individual will help develop and implement manufacturing processes for both SMT and Thru Hole production.
Primary resource for development and implementation of solder wave and reflow oven profiles and associated processes.
Responsibilities:
Define, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for SMT and Thru Hole Generate programs and profiles for various automated assembly equipment including solder printers, SMT placement machines, reflow ovens, solder wave, conformal coat, and inspection equipment Evaluate engineering models and pre-production units to ensure design of manufacturability and product quality Document and maintain records of company manufacturing processes Provide technical support and training to equipment operators where necessary Perform various tests, data collection and statistical analysis of manufacturing process problems Perform studies and prepare reports to management to help identify capital equipment acquisition needs, process/product improvements and cost reductions Follow standard company procedures for safety, ESD and workmanship Requirements:
Any combination:
4-year technical degree, 4-year degree and 2 years' technical experience, 2-year technical degree and 4 years' technical experience or 7 years' technical experience.
Knowledge of machine programs, profiles and architecture, manufacturing processes, electronics, mechanics and pneumatics Working knowledge of industry standards IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, and J-STD-001 Must have verifiable experience within a fast paced, high tech manufacturing environment Ability to read and understand bills of material, assembly drawings, panelization drawings, reflow oven and solder wave profiles, and/or other technical information as required Must be able to discern between conforming and nonconforming company processes or procedures based upon objective evidence through use of customer, company, or third-party standards Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
).
