We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Service Coordinator / Dispatcher to join our team.
This position will be responsible for coordinating service requests and providing exceptional customer support for our low voltage life safety electronic customers in Central Texas.
This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
You will be working with a dynamic team to service-oriented colleagues who specialize in Fire Alarm, Nurse Call, CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion to name a few.

The person in this role will perform the following:
Serve as the primary point of contact for low voltage life safety electronic customers in Central Texas regarding service requests and inquiries.
Coordinate service activities, including scheduling, dispatching technicians, billing, and tracking service progress to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
Communicate with customers to gather necessary information, provide updates on service requests, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, technical support, and operations, to effectively address customer needs and deliver solutions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records, including customer information, service requests, and service history.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and actively contribute to the development and implementation of service-related initiatives.
Prepare service reports, performance metrics, and other documentation as required.
Administers the check in/checkout process of Technicians to ensure accurate and efficient dispatching based on location and technician skill level to best meet the needs of the customer.
Accurately and promptly generate purchase orders as needed and complete service work order billings.
Procures Parts/Materials for service work orders.
Provides Service Quotes to customers with the assistance of the Service Supervisor.
Generate PM Work orders and assist with the scheduling of inspections and maintenance for Customers with Service Agreements.
The ideal Candidate has the following Experience, Skills and Attributes:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or coursework is a plus.
Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in the low voltage life safety electronics industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficient in using service management software and tools.
Familiarity with low voltage life safety electronic systems and components is desirable.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A positive and professional demeanor with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Exceptional telephone and personal customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Word skills.
Basic financial knowledge and skills--ability to understand basic financials such as accounts receivable/payable, purchase orders, work orders, etc.
Assist service team with data entry and maintain files or records.
Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects tasks simultaneously.
Strong flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment.
Regularly update and utilize tools and systems.
Experience with Viewpoint Construction Software a plus.

Experience:
